11-06-2014	During the time of Very Rev. Fr. A. Michael, Rector, Shrine Basilica, the Shrine Committee sowed the seed for its sprout to start a College in Vailankanni.
08-11-2017	During the time of Very Rev. Fr. A. M. A. Prabhakar, Rector, Shrine Basilica, the Foundation stone was blessed by Most. Rev. Dr. M. Devadass Ambrose, Bishop of Thanjavur for the College Building.
15-10-2021	Rev. Fr. Adhi Arokiasamy was appointed as the First Secretary of the New Arts College.
03-11-2021	After a long struggle, the opening Ceremony of the New ‘Vailankanni Matha Arts and Science College’ Building blessing was held in a simple manner.
17-08-2022	Received the Tamil Nadu Government Approval.
06-09-2022	Got the Bharathidasan University Affiliation Order. We did not admit students in the Academic Year -2022-23.
05-07-2023	Creating the History of Inaugural Function of Welcoming the First Batch 87 Students of the College. Started UG Programmes – B.Com, B.Com (Computer Application), BBA (Business Administration), BCA (Computer Applications), B.Sc, Computer Science.
16-08-2023	Most. Rev. Dr. M. Devadass Ambrose, Founder and Bishop Emeritus, visited our College and gave a talk to our Students.
09-09-2023	Our Diocesan Administrator Msgr. Dr. L. Sahayaraj visited our College and discussed about the development of the College.
